Trevor's recent books for A & C Black are aimed at young reluctant readers. The book titles reflect the immediacy of his writing style: Life in the Crusher! (about the deep ocean), Body Bugs! (the life that lives in and on people), The Secret Life of Rats, and Pets Parents Hate!

Trevor was consultant on Dorling Kindersley's 'Sharks and other creatures of the deep' and the recent 'Eye Wonder Shark'. Trevor's book on the workings of Planet Earth with pop-up design by David Hawcock, was created for Cowley Robinson and has been published in several languages.

Projects for 2010 included six e-leaning modules on academic writing for the University of Bath. In September 2010, Trevor travelled to the United States and Mexico to research his latest book about the oceans. In July 2011, Trevor is travelling to Cuba to dive in Jardines de la Reina (Gardens of the Queen), a nature reserve rich in coral reefs, mangroves, sharks and crocodiles.

Trevor is undertaking a variety of research, development and writing projects at the University of Bath, including writing case studies for the University’s Knowledge Transfer Account (KTA).
